Kohi Coffee - Logo and Visual Identity Design
Kohi - A Japanese inspired coffee shop with an emphasis on slow coffee practices and mindfulness of one's daily coffee ritual. Completed as part of a branding challenge in July 2025, Kohi's brand identity is designed to reflect the brand's commitment to slowing down and enjoying the little things. Branding elements such as the circular emblem logo and the rough and textured aesthetic throughout the typography and complimentary illustrations are a nod to traditional Japanese aesthetics as well as the concept of wabi-sabi - roughly translatable to 'beauty in imperfection'.

One Step - Logo and Visual Identity Design
One Step - The run club platform of the future inspires people to pursue their health and fitness goals as part of a community. Imagined as an app-based platform, One Step connects people and supports their wellbeing through community-led run clubs. One Step's logo and visual identity system has been designed to express the brands emphasis on inspiring forward momentum and motivation in the lives of their young target audience.

Furni - Visual Identity and Website Design
ACCESS THE FUNCTIONAL FIGMA PROTOTYPE THROUGH THE LINK BELOW. This project was completed as part of an online Figma course through Flux Academy, in which I took the initiative to also develop a full logo and brand identity system for the fictional brand on top of customizing the website design project. The goal of this project was to develop skills in brand strategy, creative direction, and the creation of brand identity assets as well as learning advanced techniques in figma related to auto-layout features, interactive/animated elements, and responsive web design.

Damaged Collective - Logo Design, Creative Direction, and Graphic Design
In early 2025, I helped two of my close friends with Logo Design, Creative Direction, and Graphic Design for their new streetwearbrand - Damaged Collective.

Poster Designs & Illustrations
A collection of posters and illustrations created over the last few years as creative exercises and personal projects to explore visual styles and develop graphic design skills.

'The Art of Surfing' - Booklet Design
Completed as part of a class project for a Publication Design course in my university program, this small booklet was created in order to learn advanced techniques within adobe Indesign while crafting a compelling story about a personal interest through layout design, imagery, and copywriting. Being a surfer and surfboard shaper myself, I was super excited to get to design a small booklet about the art of surfing in which I was able to express my thoughts about surfing as a whole in the form of printed visual layouts.

About me

I'm a mediocre surfer, plant father, shifty hooper, and amateur chef, but Graphic Design is my real SUPERPOWER
Hello! Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the webiverse. I graduated in March of 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, and I am currently working as a designer for Alpinestars in Torrance, California.
I excel at generating creative ideas and bringing them to life through visual design. I am most skilled with using the Adobe creative suite; specifically photoshop, illustrator, and indesign. While not my primary focus, I also have some experience with web design using figma and webflow, video editing using premiere pro, and apparel design.
I would say that the aspect of design that I am most drawn to and most skilled with is branding. I love creating visual systems through logos, colors, typography, photography, etc. And my work has mostly centered around expressing and communicating a brand's identity through a variety of design applications, both print and digital.
